A PUB in a Hampshire village held a royal event and raised cash for a local good cause.
The Bugle Inn pub had a royal themed event to raise money for Twyford PTA Playgroup.
Tickets were £25 each and it sold out a week in advance. The price included a barbecue from the head chef Lenny who also runs the Shoal restaurant in Winchester Guildhall.

There were lots of participants who dressed up as Kings and Queens, some people used the theme to dress as Elvis 'the king' and and tennis player Billie Jean King and another came dressed as a first class stamp and a royal mail letter box.
Hayley Fitzhenry said: “The whole event went very well, everyone enjoyed themselves and the winner of best Queen (the lady dressed as the stamp) and best king (who looked very royal) were invited along to take part in other events in the village for the Royal Platinum Jubilee in Twyford.

“The organiser of the event Roger Walker who dressed as the Queen and also brought a corgi along with him, was very please on the turn out and he said it was so great to raise lots of money for the village playgroup.”
