A VEHICLE belonging to a 'suspicious' male who was trying to scam people for money has been seized by the police.
Winchester Police said they searched for a 'suspicious' male on Sunday, June 12. It was alleged he was trying to scam passers by for their money.

Winchester police caught up with the male after receiving 'several' calls that he was trying to scam passers by on the A272.
Police then located the vehicle in Kings Worthy, who found the suspects driving licence expired.

Winchester police said: "After being stopped and told the car would be seized the male attempted to drive off despite one of us standing in front of the car.
"The car was driven off as the male refused to stop but located a short while later. The car has been seized and the driver will be interviewed at a later date."
