A HAMPSHIRE ZOO gears up for a weekend of prehistoric adventure as they invite you to the Brickosaurs Evolution event.

Marwell Zoo in Colden Common, Winchester is opening the special event from Saturday, June 18 until Sunday, June 19 for a weekend of dinosaur activities.

For one weekend only, the zoo will bring you closer to some of the giant dinosaur builds, where guests will be able to take part in exclusive activities and meet the life-like roaming Triceratops and raptor.

Guests will also be able to have their photo taken with a baby dinosaurs at the Dinosaur Nursery and guess the weight of our giant egg.

There will be a prize for the best selfie taken in dino themed clothing and you can watch expert builders from Bricklive International doing what they do best during a live build.

Dinosaur mascots, Poppy and Spike will be out to meet and greet guests, making sure you have a great day.

There will be lots of extra opportunities, with giant dinosaur egg photo prop, open fence opportunities with some of the Brickosaurs and a chance to dinosaur brick artefacts.
