MORE than 250 guests danced the night away at the Friends of St Cross Summer Party.
It was a particularly joyful occasion as it was the first time the party had been held since 2019 because of covid restrictions. Guests enjoyed dancing to the live music of Atlantico under the exuberant guidance of salsa dancer Sergiy Bondarenko. Sergiy comes from Ukraine; he has recently managed to get his mother here from Ukraine so it was a particular pleasure to invite her to the party.
A welcoming speech from Alastair Bruce, patron, followed a fizz reception attended by MP Steve Brine and his family after which guests picnicked under a marquee.
