A HAMPSHIRE driver has been spared a driving ban because of the the "exceptional hardship" it would cause.
Rebecca Jane Scott, 35, was caught speeding on the southbound A34 near Winchester and twice without insurance, a court was told.
Scott, of Launcelot Close, Andover, admitting driving a 61-reg Renault Megane at 91mph on the A34 southbound where the limit is 70mph and also without insurance on November 29 2020. On March 14 last year she was caught on the same road with no insurance.
There was no disqualification under the totting up procedure as district judge Tim Pattinson deemed it would cause "exceptional hardship" to a third party.
The judge imposed six points on her licence, fined her a total of £170 with a £34 victim surcharge. There was no order for costs because of Scott's lack of means.
