MORE than 1,000 people attended an antiques fair in Winchester on Easter Monday.
Grandma's Attic Antiques held the fair at Winchester Sport and Leisure Park for the second time since the pandemic.
Prior to that, it was held at the River Park Leisure Centre.
Chris Brown, event organiser, said: “This event has been busier than the one on New Year's Day. We've probably had around 1,000 people, we weren't expecting it to be this busy because of the weather. We used to be at River Park, where we had events for 30 years. But we love the new venue.”
Lynne Barnes, of Daiford Galleries, said: “I love meeting the people that will hopefully buy my products. Because it's paintings I deal with, I don't feel they can be easily sold online, people need to physically see them.”

The next antiques fair in Winchester will be on August 29 at the same venue.
