KEY players in the events industry come together with local business owners, bloggers and members of the community to celebrate the success of Twilight Trees and to thank the company’s supporters over the past eight years.
The artificial lighting and flora company chose Chilcomb’s longest standing resident Mo Moffatt, to cut the ribbon and officially induct the business into the village.
Female founder and creative director, Susie Reid Thomas started the company in 2014 whilst simultaneously bringing up two small children.
Together with her husband Andrew, she has grown Twilight Trees into a cutting edge business with a dedicated and specialised local team.
Twilight Trees has just taken over a 6,000 square foot unit in Chilcomb’s Manor Farm.
Susie said: “We’re in a fabulous location not just in terms of being right on the edge of the South Downs and with a close proximity to London. What excites me is the fact that with Southampton, Solent, Winchester and Bournemouth universities so close, we are slap-bang in the middle of a hub of creative talent that we hope to be able to nurture in the future”.
The company faced standstill at the start of the pandemic but swift innovation and simple grit and determination saw the business successfully pivot, avoid catastrophe and ultimately thrive.
Twilight Trees started off as an LED tree company and is one of the leading innovators in biophilic bespoke installations and artificial tree rentals.
Recent clients have included Balmoral Castle, BAFTA, Boodles, Bond Street, the Harbour Hotel, Ashby’s Winchester, English Heritage, The National Trust, Natural History Museum, Goldman Sachs, Netflix, Amazon and many more.
Twilight Trees is proud to be a carbon neutral business and a member of the REDD scheme managed by Hampshire initiative ‘Carbon Footprint Ltd.’
