THE mystery pong of sewage is still affecting households on Kings Barton, the forum heard.
The smell have been bothering residents of the new estate for over a year, the meeting was told.
Cllr Caroline Horrill, Conservative group leader, said: "The sewage problem, I'm concerned we haven't resolved that and no-one seems to understand why."
Ian Curry, Cala technical director, said work had been done to track down the source of the smell.

Mr Curry said: "The smell is intermittent, it's not a constant. We have used CCTV on all the sewers so we know they are clean and running. There is no debris down there. We are liaising with Southern Water. They have been helpful and we going to approach them again to see if they can help. If the sewers are running clean there is no reason they can smell.
"The intermittent waft is for ten seconds and it disperses. We are struggling to understand what that can be."
He said that had the problem been constant then it could be a pumping station problem.
Mr Curry said that as more houses are built the problem should disappear.
Residents have been asked to keep diaries of the smell so Cala can understand the problem better.
Forum chairman Cllr Anne Weir, who lives in nearby Stoney Lane, Weeke, said she can occasionally smell it too.
