TWO people have been hurt in a collision at a crossroads on a busy road in Hampshire.
Droxford Fire Station tweeted about the incident which took place on the A272 at Beauworth on Wednesday, March 16.
The tweet said: “Crew out this morning with Winchester Fire Station to an RTC on A272 in Beauworth. Good skills, two casualties handed to care of SCAS.”
A spokesman from South Central Ambulance Service said: "We took a 37-year-old male with a head injury and a 45-year-old female with neck and leg pain to hospital for further treatment as a result of this two car collision."
A spokesperson from Hampshire Fire Service said: "Winchester and Droxford firefighters were called at 7.22am yesterday morning following a two-vehicle collision on Beauworth Road.
"One vehicle had left the road in the incident which saw two casualties treated by South Central Ambulance Service paramedics.
"HIWFRS crews left the scene at 8.27am after making the scene safe."
The junction has a poor safety record, with two minor roads, to Cheriton and Beauworth crossing the A272 with limited visibility.
