A MAN has been jailed for making threats to kill in a Hampshire village.
Jarl Farrant was sent to prison for three months but the sentence has been suspended for 12 months by magistrates.
Farrant, 27, threatened Graham Wigmore in King's Somborne on February 11 this year whilst also in possession of a flick knife. He admitted both charges.
His address in court was given as Polmont near Falkirk in Scotland.

The magistrates also imposed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 20 days. Farrant must also pay a £95 victim surcharge and £40 costs.
There is also a restraining order barring Farrant from contacting Mr Wigmore or going to Hayes Close in King's Somborne. Contact is permitted by his father John Farrant to arrange for the collection of items. The restraining order lasts to March 6 2023.
There was no order for compensation because none was requested, according to the court record.
