Proposals for the Central Winchester Regeneration area incorporate Winchester bus station, Kings Walk, the old Friarsgate Medical Centre and Coitbury House to bring a vibrant new mixed-use development, with high quality new homes, flexible workspaces, a thriving night-time economy and beautiful public spaces.
Cllr Kelsie Learney, Cabinet Member for Housing and Asset Management, said: “We are moving forward with turning the vision of a vibrant new quarter in the heart of Winchester into reality. We are excited to share with the public progress on creating a new area of open space on the site of the old Friarsgate Medical Centre, as well as transforming the Kings Walk area into an imaginative, creative new space. We have also launched our marketing campaign for the site and look forward to sharing the fantastic new look branding and brochure."
