Police have released a new image of Roderick Hoyle as attempts to locate the missing 78-year-old Romsey resident continue.
Search teams were deployed across the town yesterday as officers admitted they were becoming "increasingly worried" for his welfare.
Roderick was last seen by a family member at around 7pm on Friday March 4 at his home address in Mill Lane.
A further sighting of him was reported to officers by a member of the public at approximately 9pm on Saturday March 5 in the Hiltingbury area of Chandler's Ford, where police are now focusing their search.
He is described as being white, approximately 5ft 9inches tall but appears stooped over, of slim build, with grey hair, stubble and glasses.
It is thought he may be wearing an orange jumper, dark blue pyjamas and slippers.
