A DEVELOPER has donated £2,700 to two Hampshire charities.
Cala Homes, which is behind schemes such as Kings Barton in Winchester, gave £2,700 to The Disabled Sailors Association and The Treloar Trust through its bursary scheme.
Alison Deakin, marketing director, said: “We are delighted to be supporting the work of the Disabled Sailors Association and the Treloar Trust, both of which have had a huge impact in the Hampshire community.
"We are looking forward to seeing how the bursary funding will help support their visions and provide further support to those who need it."
Last year, Cala’s community bursary initiative provided more than £100,000 to good causes.
Founder of the The Disabled Sailors Association Mike Wood, said: "The donation and support from Cala Homes will allow us to use superb state of the art, made to measure car racing seats that will offer seriously disabled people the safety, comfort and pride they deserve.”
Lucie Barker, fundraiser at Treloar Trust, said: “We are extremely grateful to Cala Homes for supporting us."
