BRITISH diver Tom Daley has passed through Winchester this afternoon during his ride for Comic Relief.
Tom is taking on an endurance challenge as he rows, cycles, swims and runs his way from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford to his hometown in Plymouth, where he is raising money for life-changing projects supported by Comic Relief as he takes on an ultra-marathon over four days.

This morning, Tom started the day with a swim at the Redgrave Pinsent Rowing Lake near Reading, then continued by bicycle through Berkshire, into Hampshire, passing through Micheldever, Kings Worthy and into the city, passing King Alfred's statue. Whilst making his way through Winchester, the Olympic gold medalist took the time to wave, acknowledge and say hello to his supporters cheering him on.
So far this week, he is pushing himself to his limits to raise money for charity, where he has rowed six miles from the Aquatics centre in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, cycled from the Tower of London and continued his 60 mile journey to the Redgrave Pinsent Rowing Lake. On day two, Tom swam 1,000 metres in the Redgrave Pinsent Rowing Lake then continued on his bike for a further 63 miles to Southampton.
From Southampton, Tom is continuing his cycle westwards, ready for his last day, where he will be taking on a 30 mile run from Bovey Castle to Plymouth.
