The results of the latest food hygiene inspections in Winchester have been revealed.
The Food Standards Agency ratings were introduced to give customers clear information about the hygiene standards of each premises.
Local authorities carry out the inspections throughout the year.
Businesses are given a rating from 0 to 5, with the latter being the highest.
During inspections, a majority of Winchester eateries scored an expected 5, however many scored a 3 or below.
Below are six Winchester eateries that scored a 3 or below in 2021:
Happy Pizza/Mermaids Fish and Chips, 25 Garbett Road, Winchester

Last inspection: 26 March 2021
Food Hygiene Rating: 3
Owner Zarak Khan said: "I did try to change everything that was asked. I changed the microwave and cracking on doors have been changed. I am due another inspection this year."
Shanghai Papa, St Georges Street, Winchester
Last inspection: 22 May 2021
Food Hygiene Rating: 3
Manager Jihong Shi said: "We are trying our best. The building is quite old so it's harder as a new shop. We are making sure we meet full allergy management standards while also making sure hygiene meets the right standards."
Supreme Chinese Takeaway, 19 Garbett Street, Winchester

Food Hygiene Rating: 3
A member of staff, who wished not to be named said: "We are meeting all council requirements to make it better."

Waiter Santosh Nrure said: "We have done many things to improve our restaurant. We have made a refurbishment to kitchen we'll be doing other things to improve our score. I think we'll get a four or five this time."
