THREE people have been arrested from Winchester on suspicion of drug supply, police have confirmed.
Winchester High Harm Team arrested three males in a vehicle in the Cattle Market Car Park on Thursday night (Feb 3) due to the circumstances and items found in the vehicle.
A Facebook post by Winchester Police said they were all arrested for being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
With the assistance of Winchester NPT, the three men were later transported to custody. The investigation is still ongoing.
Police also confirmed that they arrested a motorbike rider in the same night for speeding through the city centre on suspicion of being under the influence of cannabis.
He was stopped by police at Jewry Street.
Police said the rider was required to take a roadside drug test which showed positive for cannabis.
He was later taken to custody where a blood sample was taken, which will be submitted for analysis.
The rider has been released under investigation pending the results of the blood analysis.
