A NEW Thai restaurant will create 50 jobs when it opens in the city.
Thai restaurant, Giggling Squid has announced plans to open doors in Winchester this summer on a date to be fixed.
Located in 12-13 The Square, the restaurant will offer 50 job vacancies, with chefs, managers and bar staff wanted for full-time and part-time positions.

It will be in the premises vacated by the Slug and Lettuce.
Giggling Squid co-founder, Andy Laurillard said: "Thai mealtimes are energetic, informal, adventurous and where food is celebrated. It’s relaxed and there’s no standing on ceremony. We simply want people to have a great time over something tasty.
"Every Giggling Squid has its own personal touch to it, and this restaurant is no different; it’s a beautifully designed space that we hope will bring a lot of pleasure to our guests. We can’t wait to welcome everyone."

Giggling Squid features a menu of: chicken, beef, fish, stir fry, curry and noodles, as well as vegan and a vegetarian options.
The restaurant will be open from Monday to Thursday 12pm until 10pm, Friday to Saturday 12pm until10.30pm, Sunday 12pm until 9.30pm.
