HIGH pressure looks set to build-in across the British Isles next week signalling the arrival of a more settled spell for our patch.
However, before that happens low pressure will dominate Atlantic weather charts bringing further showers or perhaps more general rain at times.
There is a small risk of some wintry precipitation for a time as mild air bumps into any lingering cold air sitting over Hampshire and the Island during the next day or so.
As next week progresses, much drier conditions will develop bringing a mixture of bright spells and cloudier periods. I am expecting a few overnight frosts on the coldest nights.
A daily maximum temperature of 12C is possible this weekend.
