AFTER a mild start to the forecast period, temperatures will slowly drop away as next week progresses.
Both low and high pressure systems will influence weather patterns across the British isles in the days ahead.
Hampshire and the Isle of Wight will see a fair amount of showery bursts of rain at times.
Some of the precipitation may be heavy and perhaps prolonged, and as the weather turns colder next week, there is a small risk of a little sleet in the mix over high ground in North Hampshire.
But, it is not all doom and gloom because there will be some decent spells of dry weather developing in the latter few days of the outlook period. Perhaps a few frosts.
Top temperature 13C.
