A MAN was killed in a road accident after his car collided with a road barrier and sign at the side of the carriageway on the A34.
The driver, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, the accident occurred at around 6.10pm yesterday (Friday, December 24) when a black Peugeot 3008 collided near to the A303 slip road at Bullington Cross.
Police said the next of kin of the man have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said they are now appealing for witnesses for the fatal collision.
