THANKS have been given to those who attended last month’s Wonston Community Café.
The event was held on October 20 at Victoria Hall in Sutton Scotney with an amazing attendance and some very generous donations.
The café raised £400 for Blood Cancer UK, which is dedicated to beating blood cancer by funding research and supporting those affected.
The café will return to Victoria Hall on Wednesday November 17 at 9.30am to noon (last orders at 11.45am).
This month the café will be raising funds for Little Hearts Matter, the only national UK charity offering help to anyone affected by the diagnosis of single ventricle heart condition.
A spokesperson said: “Please do come along to support the community café, which is staffed entirely by volunteers. All the cakes are homemade, we have real coffee and plenty of free parking.”
