A RECORD 13 Winchester and District Athletics Club athletes have been selected to represent their county team at the prestigious English Schools Athletics Track and Field championships. The event this year will be held in Manchester between July 8-10.
Despite all the disruptions and challenges from Covid, Winchester Athletes continue to perform at the highest level during 2021 in what is proving to be a record season. Numerous club records have already been broken and the junior teams, who compete in two league competitions (thw Wessex and YDL), have won all their fixtures to date.
The success in making the Hampshire team is a reflection on the hard work and dedication of this group of young athletes, their coaches, parents, and supporters – well done to all.
