HAT Fair returned to Winchester this weekend in a new format to allow for social distancing.
The outdoor event, first held in 1974, was staged at North Walls Recreation Ground and nearby School of Art car park and was ticketed.
It attracted international, national and local theatre, dance, circus and music acts.
Last held in 2019 the outdoor event is normally held in the city centre, on the High Street, the Square and Cathedral Close and is free to attend, with audiences traditionally throwing money in to a hat after a hatter's performance.
Organisers, Play to the Crowd which also runs the Theatre Royal, have been able to limit the audience numbers to provide a Covid safe and secure event for audiences, staff, volunteers and artists alike.
The weather was variable over the course of the three days.
Hat Fair has attracted a national reputation ans was growing in popularity with organisers estimating 96,000 people attended the 2019 event.
