A TEENAGE couple in Winchester have been mugged by two men.
Police officers today appealed for witnesses to the robbery in Stanmore.
It happened between 10.50pm and 11pm on Sunday, June 27, on Fox Lane.
The victims, an 18-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, had been walking through the park behind Stanmore Lane. As they reached Fox Lane they were approached by two unknown men who attacked the man before stealing his phone.
The woman’s purse and passport were also stolen.
The suspects are both described as being black, aged between 20 and 30years, approximately 6ft with a heavy build, one of the men also had a full beard. One man was described as wearing a black jumper with a yellow/gold pattern.
