THE streets of Owslebury are looking ex-straw-dinary this half term.
More than 30 scarecrows can be seen in gardens, with the popular trail running up until Sunday June 6.
The straw characters depict favourite family films from across the decades and adorn the main roads and the Glebe Field beside the church.
Offering Covid-secure half-term entertainment, the trail also gives visitors chance to win an afternoon tea.
There is free parking beside the church, a picnic area, family meals and refreshments at The Ship Inn and·Mr Marucci’s Ice Cream Van.
The person who correctly identifies the most correct scarecrow themes will have the chance to win a meal for four at The Ship Inn, Owslebury, and the most popular scarecrow entry wins afternoon tea from Tea to You.
Scarecrow Trail maps are on sale from 10am every day beside St Andrew’s Church and cost £5.
The inaugural Owslebury Scarecrow Trail in 2020 was based on favourite nursery rhymes and fairy tales – the favourite of which was the Hickley family’s Jack and Jill.
