A WINCHESTER man has been ordered to get help for an alcohol problem after admitting three separate cases of threatening behaviour with two of them racially aggravated.
Peter John Lynch, 57, of Lawn Street, pleaded guilty to threats against Naoe Foley on June 20 2020; against Chingting Huang on June 25 2020, racially aggravated; and against Gurpreet Chahal, also racially aggravated, on September 12 2019.
Basingstoke Magistrates Court imposed a community order with a nine-month alcohol treatment requirement.
Lynch will also be under curfew for 12 weeks until May 5 to stay at home between 7pm and 6am.
The court also added a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 20 days. There will also be a £95 victim surcharge and order for £45 costs which will be taken from benefits.
A charge of threatening behaviour from August 20 2016 was withdrawn.
