Crews from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service tackled a 'devastating' blaze at a house in Whiteley this morning after the roof of the property caught fire.
Firefighters from Hightown, Fareham, Botley St Mary's, Portchester and Cosham tackled the fire for over three hours, after being called just after 3am this morning.
In a tweet, HFRS confirmed that 'fortunately no-one was hurt.'

They also tweeted photos of the crew's efforts in tackling the blaze on Yew Tree Drive - with the roof of the property engulfed by flames.
The post confirmed crews had left the scene and a re-inspection of the two storey property is planned later today.
Firefighters have now left the scene having extinguished the blaze in the two-storey property.

Local Fire Officer with HFRS Paul Riddell described the incident on Twitter as a "devastating loss of property."
The post continued: "Our thoughts are with [the owners]. Excellent initial actions by crews & support from all other [HFRS] resources.
