A MAIN road near Winchester was blocked by a head-on collision.
A Seat car and a heavy goods vehicle collided on the B3335, Searles Hill, in Twyford at around 9.15am yesterday.

The male driver and female passenger of the Seat sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital.
The Chronicle has asked Hampshire Constabulary for an update on the situation.
The photograph shows the DAF lorry was travelling south when it was in collision with the car.
Police officers and three ambulance services vehicles were on the scene.
Traffic diversions were in place but long tailbacks were caused on the road that links Eastleigh and Winchester. Bus services including the No 69 from Winchester to the Southern Parishes was diverted via Morestead.
