The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is affecting us all and this is a difficult and challenging time while we follow the government’s guidance to stay at home as much as possible to help control the virus and save lives – please use this page to find out about how you can support your local businesses and which in Winchester city centre are open for essential goods or offering home delivery and online shopping.

  • Some remain open for essential goods or services with procedures in place to follow Government guidelines to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
  • While many shops are closed at this time, you can still shop locally online or contact your favourite shops to ask if they offer a home delivery service.
  • Order from the local pubs, cafes and restaurants you love if they are offering a delivery or takeaway service.
  • Some closed businesses are selling gift vouchers for when normal service resumes – why not treat yourself or your loved ones?
  • Some businesses can still provide their services to you remotely or have adapted to offer new services online.
  • Help celebrate your favourite local businesses and like or share their posts on social media.
  • Rate the businesses you love in Winchester with 5-star reviews.
