A VILLAGER has been disqualified from the road after admitting drink driving.
Gavin Hoffen, 39, of Oxford Road, Sutton Scotney, was stopped by the police as he was driving an H-reg Jaguar near his home on January 7.
When tested Hoffen had 37 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, when the legal limit is 35.
Magistrates in Basingstoke banned for 12 moths and fined him £500 with a £50 victim surcharge and £85 costs. The ban will be cut by 12 weeks if he passes an approved course by August 20.
