A MOTORCYCLIST has been disqualified for three years for drug riding and having no insurance.
Kieran Brent Stonier, 20, was caught by police in Kings Worthy riding a 02-reg Kawasaki ZX900 on May 21, a court heard.
When tested, Stonier, of Fraser Road, Kings Worthy, was above the legal limit for cannabis. He admitted the charge.
Magistrates in Basingstoke imposed a community order for Stonier to undertake 60 hours unpaid work over the next 12 months with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 10 days.
Stonier was also ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £45 costs. He was banned for 36 months.
He also admitted riding with no insurance and received a six month ban and 60 hours unpaid work.
An alternative charge of riding the motorbike whilst unfit through drugs was withdrawn by the prosecutors.
