A DRINK driver has been banned from the roads for 18 months.
Kathleen McCarthy, of Basingstoke Road, Micheldever, admitted to being over the limit while driving a grey Mini in Larkwhistle Farm Road on September 26.
Tests showed she had 63 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
Appearing before Magistrates in Basingstoke on October 15, McCarthy, 22, was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £25 costs in addition to her driving ban.
