FEATURING Tom’s Talking Reptiles, a fantastic Dog Show and all the fun, food and festivities of a great fete, the sun shone on the crowds of families attending this year’s annual fundraiser for the village churches of Corhampton, Meonstoke and Exton.
An impressive £8,000 was raised at the event on Saturday.
Entertainment was provided by the Meon Valley Band, Jentle Jazz and the local tug-of-war teams. Not to mention the pretty, waggy-tailed and handsome canine visitors who were judged by Shield Veterinary Centre nurses.
There was a chance to try quoits and coconuts, to watch your duck sail down the river and to get up close and personal with snakes, iguanas and mini-beasts.
Local businesses, including Wallops Wood Cottages, Nigel Chamberlain and Partners and Leydene Glass and Glazing sponsored events and donated prizes, alongside generous donations by many others.
