A DRINK driver has been fined more than £2,000 after he was caught over the limit.
Matthew Nicholas Andrews, 46, of Longstock Road, Longstock, near Stockbridge, was stopped by police close to his home on July 22.
Magistrates in Basingstoke heard that his alcohol reading was 61 micrograms in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.
Andrews pleaded guilty. He was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £2,149 with a £170 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
