HAMPSHIRE Highways will be undertaking drainage repair/replacement works in Spring Lane, Colden Common.
The works, between Main Road and Upper Moors Road, are programmed to start on April 23 and are expected to last for six weeks.
For safety, the road will be closed to through traffic, except for local residents’ access, which will be maintained.
It is part of works being undertaken by Operation Resilience, which the county council says is “a long term strategy to make Hampshire’s roads more resilient to the effects of extreme weather and heavy traffic.”
Information boards have been installed to provide advance warning. Residents and businesses have been notified by letter.
