Athletes Louisa Warwick and Leonie Stewart, pupils at St Swithun's School, have capped a fine year by qualifying to represent Hampshire in the 1500 metres at the English Schools Championships in Birmingham.
This is the latest in a string of successes for the pair which include wins for Louisa in the Hampshire Schools Cross Country Junior Girls, the British National Biathlon and a very respectable 19th in the London Marathon Youth event.
Not to be outdone, Leonie has represented Hampshire in an international cross-country event in France, finishing 2nd, and finished 3rd at the Goodwood Duathlon where she was the youngest competitor.
