A WINCHESTER cafe is celebrating after a prestigious regional awards ceremony.
Fighting off competition from businesses from across the South East, The Little Kitchen Company has won silver in the Cafe/Tearoom of the Year award category at the Beautiful South Awards 2017.
The Little Kitchen Bistro has recently been celebrated amongst the crème de la crème of the South East’s tourism industry.
It was up against hundreds of other cafés from across the region, from Buckinghamshire and Ken to the Isle of Wight.
The Beautiful South Awards recognises and celebrates excellence in the regional tourism industry. Offering winners both prestige and an enhanced profile, the awards aim to inspire other businesses to invest and raise standards in quality, innovation and customer service.
The judges said the Little Kitchen Bistro in Headbourne Worthy provides a warm and relaxed environment for visitors to enjoy delicious handmade food.
Contributing to their award win, the Little Kitchen Bistro is known for its friendly demeanour and excellence in customer service.
Everything sold on site is freshly made utilising high-quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers.
The Little Kitchen Bistro is operated by The Little Kitchen Company, a bespoke Hampshire based catering service founded by managing director Cait Salanson in 2011.
Cait said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive the Beautiful South Silver Award for Café/Tearoom of the Year. It is a huge achievement for us to be selected for this award. It represents both the excellence in the quality of our food and in our customer service. I would like to thank my amazing team for all their work.”
Now a multi-award-winning business, The Little Kitchen Company has swiftly grown from a small kitchen operation to one which provides bespoke catering services across Hampshire and Dorset. In the last year, they received both the Wedding Caterer Award and the Overall High Score Award at the Hampshire Wedding Supplier Awards.
