A 15-YEAR-OLD alone at home had a frightening experience when she realised burglars were in the house.
The girl, who was off school due to illness, was in bed when she heard intruders downstairs at home in Cranbury Road, Eastleigh, at 2.15pm on Tuesday, June 26.
She heard the doorbell ring several times but she did not answer because she was not expecting anyone. Then she heard her dog barking at the back of the house.
Looking from an upstairs window, she saw two youths entering the house, and then she could hear them in the living room and the kitchen. She made some noise to let the intruders know that the house was occupied and then heard them leave.
The dog followed them out and when she went out to look for it, she found a man and woman at the front door with her pet. Police want to hear from the couple, who may have vital information.
Both intruders were white and about 15. One was around 5ft 5ins, skinny and wearing a blue tracksuit and baseball cap. The other was taller, of heavier build, with similar clothing, but a darker baseball cap.
