A RACING enthusiast from Four Marks will be competing to become the UK's best female driver next Wednesday (July 4).
Sarah Earl, 23, of Blackberry Lane, will be battling against 99 other females at a mystery location for one of 16 places at the Formula Woman Championship this summer.
There were 1,300 entrants initially and Miss Earl passed a gruelling assessment to be among the final 100.
If she finishes in the top three at the Formula Woman Championships she will earn a free season in the Novice Championship, an eight-race competition held later this summer.
Formula Woman was founded in 2004 and is designed to assist women to break into the male- dominated area of motorsport. It is the only female motor racing championship in the country.
