ONE of the most well-known faces in Winchester played a huge role raising money for Children in Need.
Kevin Collick, who is better known as 'Kev the Big Issue Man' helped to raise £5000 with a day of fundraising where he dressed up as Pudsey Bear.
On the day itself,Kev was stationed in his usual spot on Winchester High Street close to now vacant River Island shop.
He was supported by musician Dean Dyson and donations into his charity bucket came thick and fast with it being so full it had to be changed three times.
Kev said before the day itself, "People always help me with the Big Issue and I thought I should put something back for a change, what goes around comes around, it is a bit of karma."
Around £2,500 was raised, and Santander's Winchester branch agreed to match what he raised bringing it up to £5000.
