COUNCILLORS will visit a site where a developer wants to build a three-bed house near to three other new homes, at West House in South Hill, Droxford, on Monday, June 25.
Both Droxford Parish Council and the South Downs Joint Committee are objecting to the building, saying it would be detrimental to the setting of nearby West House, which is a listed building.
The agent for the applicant, Perham Fry Developments Ltd, said it wanted to build a "welcoming" family home that fitted the context of the village.
