Worthys Youth FC have been recognised with a best in county' award from the Hampshire Football Association. The Club's application for Charter Standard, already fast-tracked to Development Club' level, was this week judged by Hants FA to be the best in the county in this category for the 2006/7 season.
Accepting the award in Basingstoke (see picture) from Charlotte Brown, Hants FA Football Development Officer, WYFC chairman, Andy Court, said: "I am delighted that Hants FA has recognised the hard work that everyone put into our application. I look forward to working to continue to see the club flourish next season."
