RAIDERS got away with antiques worth about £10,000 after breaking into a house at Broughton.
Police say the householder disturbed three people wearing dark clothing at the property last Friday night. The raiders then fled the scene.
Detectives say the gang removed a large amount of property from downstairs rooms before being disturbed. The trio got in by forcing open a set of rear patio doors.
The missing property includes a Minton vase with flowers and bird pattern; a saucer decorated with a picture of an 18th century gentleman and a seated lady; a bronze statue of Mercury; a pair of rose glass jugs; a bronze Pointer dog figurine and a walnut work table.
Other items stolen included a Victorian walnut occasional table, silver presentation bowls and a small Samson' "Famille Rose Export" clock case.
Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the village around the time of the incident (about 10pm) or has any information is asked to contact police.
Detectives are also keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered antiques or high value items for sale.
Information should be phoned through to Andover police on 0845 045 45 45, or to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
