THE Horrors, Simian Mobile Disco, Public Service Broadcasting, and Grandmaster Flash are among the first wave of acts announced for this year's Blissfields festival.
The event, which takes place at Vicarage Farm near Winchester, will also see the likes of Glass Animals, Ibibio Sound Machine, The Correspondents, and John Grant appear over the weekend of July 3-4.
Each year the festival has grown since its inception in 2001 and this year's theme - Somewhere in Time - will invite revellers on a journey through the ages.
The Horrors are one of the country's leading guitar acts who have evolved from their early days of gothic garage-punk to become an internationally acclaimed headline act.
John Grant will bring his raw, emotional and frank take on music to the festival.
His latest solo album, Pale Green Ghosts, won the accolade of album of 2014 by Rough Trade records.
Simian Mobile Disco will see in the late night live slot on the main stage this year and their formidable set is likely to include remixes which bear their name - from the likes of Muse and Nine Inch Nails to Bjork.
With a long history of welcoming emerging talent, from Bastille in 2012, Sam Smith in 2013, and Years & Years in 2014, attention will once again be on the festival to highlight the best in new music.
Palace, Flo Morrissey, Gengahr, Loyle Carner, Kiko Bun, Alex Adair, Ekkah and Songhoy Blues are just some of the names who are appearing and creating a huge buzz in the music industry.
Hip-hop legend and DJ pioneer Grandmaster Flash will serve lessons in the lost art of turntable technique while Eton Messy return in the slot previously occupied by the likes of Snakehips, Bondax, and Alunageorge.
