Winchester post office plans to expand opening hours
STANMORE Post Office is set to relocate as part of a nationwide modernisation drive.
The Cromwell Road branch will open on Sundays for the first time if it moves two doors down to Stanmore Stores.
It would open from 6am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 6.30am to 10pm on Sundays, adding more than 65 extra opening hours a week.
The plans are out for a six-week public consultation.
