STAFF at Romsey Tourist Information Centre (TIC) are about to offer some festive cheer to customers.
They will be handing out non-alcoholic mulled wine and mince pies to customers who buy charity Christmas cards at the Church Street-based centre on Tuesday(November 12). More than 25 charities have cards on sale through the stall and 70 per cent of the money raised through sales with go directly to the organisations behind the festive cards.
“The Tourist Centre has been hosting a stall in the run-up to Christmas for many years, helping charities to raise thousands of pounds in the process,” said Ali Campion from RTIC, which is open between 10am and 4pm Monday to Saturday.
The TIC is offering a 10 per cent discount on gifts and publications in the run up to Christmas.
