Women taken to hospital after car crash near Winchester
TWO women were taken to hospital after a two-car crash near Winchester this morning.
A pair of Toyota Yarises collided at the junction of the A272 and A31 near Morn Hill at around 8.30am, both leaving the road.
It caused rush-hour delays on the road, a major route into Winchester, for around 30 minutes.
A rapid response vehicle and one ambulance from South Central Ambulance Service attended as did an appliance from Winchester Fire Station.
The women did not have to be cut free and were taken to Royal Hampshire County Hospital but their injuries are not believed to be serious.
