WINCHESTER’S dark age history comes to life at a new exhibition at the City Museum this weekend.
On November 1 and 2 visitors young and old can learn about life in the 6th and 7th Centuries re-enacted by local group, Weorod.
Visitors can handle replica objects and find out about the weapons and crafts used at the time include antler and bone-working, leather-working, bow-making, medicine and cooker.
Admission is free and the event runs from 10am-3.30pm.
