AN ALRESFORD designer returns with her pop-up shop in Winchester next month following a successful Christmas trade last year.
Designer and illustrator, Suzie Brown, returns to the Brooks Centre for the third year with The Winchester Pop Up Design Shop from November 1.
The temporary shop offers homewares, jewellery and clothing from independent designers and craftspeople across the region.
It will be located on the Upper Level (unit 38) and opens from 9.30am-5.30pm.
Ms Brown, who runs Urban Bird Design, said: “I am so happy to be opening the doors of The Winchester Pop Up Design Shop for a third year. We have gathered a loyal following of shoppers who appreciate the opportunity to obtain a gift or an item that is rare or unique and made locally.”
“The concept is fantastic and lends the high street extra charm and diversity. It provides shoppers with a reason to return to the town centre rather than shop online or in big retail parks.
“Importantly, it also provides independent designers with a much-needed platform to showcase their work. Most of our suppliers handcraft their designs in studios and workshops, the shop increases access to their work.”
