THE pool at The Rapids in Romsey will have a spooky makeover when the water will be turned a fluorescent yellow especially for a Hallowe’en pool disco on Friday, November 1.
It will be the first time the water at the centre has been dyed for a special occasion in over 10 years.
Swimming co-ordinator, Sue Perkins said: “The pool disco is always very popular with local kids and we wanted to make it extra special for Hallowe’en.
“Some of our lifeguards had the chance to swim in a tester sample, and they thought it was great. We think the kids will love it even more!”
The yellow colouring comes from a safe powder dye that’s added to the pool water, and will be cleared by the next day.
As well as yellow water, there will also be spooky Hallowe’en decorations, and music and disco lights.
The disco runs from 6.15pm to 9pm and tickets cost £3 each and can be booked on 01794 830333.
